  • Q: Why machine & computer cannot connect?
    Connecting in the first time, please confirm as follows:

    1. Is the "UAC Settings" selected as lowest or never notified?

    2. Is the CNC control system installed normally and successfully? And did it pop up the warning window?

    3. Does the power cord connect normally?

    4. Does the USB cable connect normally? Is changing the other USB ports on the computer and the issue solved?

    5. Did the power off because the emergency switch was pressed?

    6. Re-open the Bravoprodigy CNC control system

    If you are not connecting for the first time, please confirm as follows:

    1. Have the sleep (hibernate) mode in the computer operating system be turned off?

    2. If the version of the CNC control system is correct?

    3. Does the power cord connect normally?

    4. Does the USB cable connect normally? Is the USB port deformed or loose due to pulling?

    5. Does the power on?

    6. Did the power off because the emergency switch was pressed?

    7. Has the fuse been blown?

    8. Do you hear the sound of the motor overcharging after turning on the power?

    A:   All modules are controlled using the IMCNC mini CNC control software.

  • Q: Can software be used on a Mac OS?A: Currently, both mini CNC operating software and Vectric software are only compatible with Windows systems.

  • Q: Where can I download the original files for the software if they are lost?A: Upon receiving the product, please follow the designated procedure to register on the Bravoprodigy official website. After registration, you will be able to download the software from the member area.

  • Q: How to download the Bravoprodigy tool library and import it into Vectric software? What is the standard operating procedure (SOP)?A:

    1. Register the  membership on the Bravoprodigy official website.

    2. Download the software from the member area.

    3. Find BP Tool Data and download.

    4. Open Vectric Software.

    5. Click Toothpaths on the  menu bar.

    6. Click Tool Database.

    7. Click Import Tool Database.

      A: Only a tutorial for operating the mini CNC.

    CAD/CAM Software

    • Q: Can IMCNC mini CNC engraver work with CAD/CAM software that I already have?A:  Any post-processor that can generate G-Code formate is compatible with our engraver.

    • Q: What CAM software is compatible with the engraver?
      A: Any post-processor that can generate G-Code formate is compatible with our engraver.

    • Q: Can I use other drawing software?
      A: If your drawing software can export vector outlines in file formats such as DXF, AI, EPS, and 3D files in STL format, it can be imported into Vectric software for subsequent toolpath setup.

    • Q: Post-processor settings for RhinoCam, CopperCam, Kiri:moto.
      A: Open the format setting of the post-processor and use a custom method to set the start and end commands of the G code and the layout of the G commands for the post-processor, which are all open for users to adjust.

      As long as to set the CAM software post-processor to the commands that Bravoprodigy CNC is acceptable, and the Gcode can be transferred for usage.
