  • Q: I Found that part of the engraving object surface was not engraved.
A: It is possible that the thickness of the material itself is uneven, and the engraving starting point is set at the thickest part of the material. This may happen that part of the material surface is not engraved. Therefore, the starting point should be set at the thinnest point of the engraving material.
It is possible that the tool bit breaks during the engraving.

  • Q: The engraved results different from the simulated results in the software. Is there a misconfiguration or error in the settings?
A: Before engraving, you can perform a preview of the toolpath in the CAM software. This allows you to troubleshoot and verify tool parameters by examining the simulated preview results. Ensuring correct tool settings is essential for achieving consistent and accurate engraving results.

  • Q: Can I purchase materials from IMCNC?
A: Yes,   IMCNC offers additional engraving materials and material application craving kits for sale.

  • Q: Do you provide sample trials to engrave?
A: IMCNC currently do not offer this plans.

IMCNC mini CNC Module

  • Q:  Can the IMCNC mini CNC engrave photos on wood?
A: Engraving bitmap images on wood typically involves using grayscale images designed for relief carving. The grayscale levels in these images are optimized for creating realistic effects in wood relief carving. However, for general photographs, it is still advisable to perform image editing before engraving to achieve the best results.

  • Q:   When cutting acrylic, what type of tool is recommended?
What are the optimal cutting speed and spindle speed?
    A: 4025A020, 4050A020.

  • Q: When engraving on white (or brown) acrylic photos, what should be noted?
A: The principle of engraving is that the darker the grayscale level, the deeper the engraving, while the lighter the grayscale level, the shallower the engraving. For acrylic photos, the grayscale is reflected by the transparency level. Therefore, the negative image function is used to achieve a more realistic engraving effect resembling a photograph.

  • Q: Can CNC Module engrave stainless steel?
A: BravoProdigy CNC equipment is not suitable for machining steel materials. However, it can be used with the vibration pen module to draw patterns.

IMCNC mini CNC Laser Module

  • Q: Can the mini CNC Laser module engrave photos? A: The Laser Module can be used with bitmap images to engrave photos.

  • Q: What materials can the IMCNC laser module be used on?A: Suitable materials for laser engraving: wood, cork, bamboo, leather, cardboard, foam, etc. (Metal materials are inherently not engraveable, but surface coatings can be engraved.)

IMCNC mini CNC Impact Dot Peen Module

  • Q: Can the mini CNC Impact Dot Peen module engrave photos? A:  The Impact Dot Peen Module is suitable for use with vector graphics files, utilizing toolpaths for its operation. It cannot be used to engrave photos with bitmap image files.

  • Q: What materials can the IMCNC laser module be used on?A: Suitable Materials: Brass, bronze, gold, silver, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, various plastics.
